so ive got a couple of close friends back around milwaukee that ive had since middle school. my crew. i tend to send them text pics when i get a new blaster. and of course they dont really "get it" because they havent really seen or heard one in person. they just think i need professional help.

so my one buddy asked my opinion on the Dr. Dre Beatbox....i told him to get the Altec Lansing IMT800....he didnt like it....i told him a real man would get an M90...yada yada.... back and forth sh*t talkin as usual.

so he tells me to send him a pic of all my boxes together...so i emailed him a pic of most of them.

his text response....."Ahahahaha....holy f*ckin sh*t G!! That is the the f*ckin coolest sh*t i've ever seen! Ha! Wow, just f*ckin wow! But you are OCD, just sayin."

thanks bill. i figured im gonna get the grails while i can. but not because theyre grails. its that simple classic style that i love. hence my affection for the GF-8989. not a powerhouse at all, but in my world.....its perfect. dont think i'll ever get a big ben....it just doesnt do it for me. still undecided on the vz2000. turntable is sweet but i like what i like. that lasonic was a reach for me, but it was a great deal and im glad i got it.

...and congrats on those recent grail finds! awesome.

You should have included a picture of a small child next to those blasters... he may be impressed, but I don't think he really has a handle on just how large they are in person....
