I got ahold of the seller of a TRC-935 in Eugene, Oregon. I need to know if this unit is worth $50.00 + gas. I live up around Seattle, and it's gonna take me over 3 hours to get there.

Box looks good. Real good. Has a sticker on top, one cassette doesn't work, and it's missing the battery compartment cover. My question is: do I go for it, or not?

Anyone have a spare battery cover?

He says he'll hold it for me if I come down in the morning.

So, what say the experts?

:agree:

and --unless you plan to re-sell this box --
then the missing battery cover is no big deal --
or --dont ever let that stop you -

you know you can make a wooden cover
that WILL hold all your Dcells in there --right !!

DO IT Kenpat, that's why I (re)-posted it up, I couldn't believe that it was still there!

There are guys on this forum that would take it for $50 plus gas plus postage, so you have nothing to lose except your time.

I would do it, except it's a long way to drive for me.....

Thanks, Terry, but it's just not possible for me to get down there fast enough to make the pick -up. :-/

I've got an anniversery to go to today and I just can't squeeze in what has turned into at least a 10 hour trip.

I just hope someone else can snag this boomer...

Thanks to everyone who chimed in with advice - you guys are the greatest! :angelic:
