Help!!!! VZ 2000

hi does anyone know how to adjust/fix the tonearm movement on the sharp vz 2000

once it plays a record it really struggles to return the tone arm to the park position, if i open the door slightly, it moves back ok.

Is there a way to adjust the tension of the return wire?????

Have you downloaded the schematic and service manual yet?

it was the tone arm drive belt, i got a replacement from Maplins......shes working fine now...
