So I'm wondering what the little "boombox" I had in mind was, make & model.

I saw it at an "Artifact: Creative Recycle" store in Portland, OR. For $30. Twas missing the battery cover.

Here's what I remember about it from memory:

-Twas silver (or something like that - shiny - with chrome trims)
-Had 3" Paper cone full-range drivers (Either they were black, or white, with polychrome dust covers. Don't exactly remember)
-Long, yet short & shallow.
-Probably had dual Cassette decks
-Likely branded Panasonic
-Probably operated on C-Cell batteries
-Basic controls. Nothing truly special.
-From mid-late 80's.

That's all of the thoughts from memory I can type in. Shouldn't be too difficult compared to the couple other similar posts I've been seeing here.

Some maybe not-so-fancy silver minis, with some chrome and two decks would be a Panasonic RX-F22 or Sanyo WU4A.

I think it may be the F22, since it didn't have Japanese characters labeled under the controls. It was entirely in English.

If it was something the thread starter used to own it would better. If it’s something that was seen briefly in a recycling store how do we know if the answer is correct?
It might of been this ...
it could of had that ...
probably had this...

A bit vague and not a good challenge.

So while I was scrolling through ebay, trying to find a decent box that isn't an egg or full-range 4" driver crap (for a price worth spending), I came upon this.

It looks a lot like what I saw at that Artifact place...white cones, sausage dimensions, the like. It's a Panasonic FM30.
I think this may be it, boys.
