I’m a bit confused...are you saying you have the choice of any of those pictured?

Some really good boxes there and the Bombeat is the most valuable, but it depends on the condition and the price

Jvc M70 or Crown 950 are always going to be safe buys as they are both brillisn't. That Toshiba Bombast 40 tho is rare and beautiful and gets my vote.

Depends what kind of music you listen to, and whether you play it indoors or outdoors

For outdoors use, that JVC M70 would be the best performer.

But for indoors use, my choice would be one of those two Aiwas in the second photo, followed by the Toshiba Bombeat 40, followed by the Crown 850, followed by the M70, followed by the Silver ST-858, followed by........(gonna stop here)

I would really love to know what the brand is of that small silver Boombox at the bottom of the stack where tpr 950 is.

The aiwa tpr 950 and the JVC M70 are the champions that division but the aiwas hard to work on and nowhere near as loud as the JVC ,the aiwa wins for high quality sound, but its hard to beat the JVC m70 for practicality.

Crown 850 is the one I’d choose. Looks cool with those huge drivers. It’s got to be the easiest box of all to work on, has that nice, bassy sound (like an M9990, M9994), is lightweight and has the unique ‘strap only’ carrying setup. They seem reliable too!m
Although that one looks like it’s missng the deck door:

I love the look of the Silver but don’t know what they sound like. The Sharp GF9292 is a beauty. The other two are common and not that interesting imo
