Hi KingExcel,

Whats the issue with the 555, is it the take up on the cassette? If so it's a known problem with a documented fix. The actual document pertains to the 777, but the decks are pretty much the same.

Thanks Terry, the issue is the tape plays for a few seconds then stops and i have to rethread my tape

thanks , im kind of newbie to fixing my boxes but i wold like to tinker more into them
