Just got this thing from ebay, thought I paid a little much, but just wanted to own it somehow.
Turned out to be a very nice buy.
The brand is Music Air, name "country-stereo" - on the back it says MCRS-755
Soundwise it is very nice, the matrix stereo makes it sound like there are woofers on the back.
Haven't weighed it yet, but it's very heavy for its size, too. Tape works like a charm.
The switches feel great, like the ones from big old amps.
I have just two problems:
- radio reception is nice, but a little weak in volume (also the vu's don't kick that much)
- never turns off (sounds like a fridge with power cord connected)
Is this an aka of something? It is a real quality boombox, feels very well made - better than some big brands.
