hi my names Graeme and im the owner of a sharp GF 555E, which is working minus the aerial and tape deck 2... doh!
i bought it about 2 years ago for £35. and intended to use it (im a bboy, breaker, breakdancer.... call it what you will) and its sat in the back of wardrobe until now. ive just got it out and connected up my ipod into the line in.
i gotta say it has a nice sound! i was born in 1982 and can remember seeing similar boomboxes when i was growing up. now i own one!

Welcome aboard, Graeme! I used to have a GF-666Z, which is quite similar to the GF-555, and it sounded great. I hope you get yours sorted and 100%.
