Hello to everyone from Surrey. My names Ed and I got back in to stereo's about 4 years ago, then kind of stopped... But my friends have started buying the boxes they had when we were younger, so I've started looking again! I'll try and get some pic's up of what I've got a bit later.

 If it gets dark in June, you're too far south! ;-)

As luck had it, I studied in Leeds back in the 80s so got to discover loads of Yorkshire's many great places. And once I'd had a small drink in all of them, I even saw some of the scenery too.

Sorry it's taken a while boys and girls...

I used to carry this on my shoulder while skating along on my roller boots...

I picked this up cheap as it didn't work, and the volume knob was missing. So I stripped it down and got it working then when I was at the dump, I took one off an old Hi-Fi that was in the skip.

I know it doesn't match, but i love it!

I brought this because I'd never heard of the make K.I.C. I Googled it but never found anything out. Any of you seen another one?

Got this for the wife when she's out in the garden.

Haven't got round to looking at this one yet. This reminds me of the ones that we had at school.

The sad thing is, I've never got the money at the right time to get the box of my dreams!

:ghost: KIC rings a bell with me. Was it perhaps a club book-specific brand rather than one you'd have found in shops?
Liking the Prinz, ISTR that the name was a store brand, Dixons or Rumbelows perhaps? Someone will no doubt know for sure but I have a Prinz car radio that used to live under the dashboard of my '64 Morris Oxford until I replaced it with a Philips record player.

I'd really like a big stereo. I love the look of the big iconic Sharp (GF-777?) or the Philips with the cassette on the left and large middle speaker. My sister had a long Sanyo with four speakers which I'd love to get. I remember it sounding pretty good, but looking really cool! I'm not too good on names and numbers, I just know the big boxes look great... I would like a 3D Superwoofer as well actually. Oh my god, the list is endless!!
