Hey there! My name is Mark from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. While I've perused through this site before, I guess I didn't realize that I hadn't posted, and therefore signed up.
I'm known as Buzz70 on that "other" site (stereo2go), and I collect a modest amount of walkmans and boomboxes. I prefer the Panasonic RX-C series (C52, C60, C100, C20, C50 for example). However, I own a mint JVC PC-5 with remote and carrying case, JVC PC-3, and other boomboxes - maybe 30 in all. I also have about a dozen walkmans.
I have owned a LOT of boomboxes and walkmans over the last 25 years. I fix them, play with them, and then sell them most of the time to use for my next purchase!
