23 years old from Florida, my intent of joining the site is to exclusively educate myself on what is out there and repair tips.
I find myself buying older style boxes from ebay/thrift shops/etc whenever I have the money to spend on it. As of right now I currently only own two that are worth mentioning,
GE- 3-5263B and a Lloyd v444
I was inspired by the boom box when my father had a nice JVC in our garage growing up. however it wasn't until 2008 that I actually went forth and bought my first one, that GE 3-5263B.(For what it's worth I cant find much online about it, It's nothing particularly special, but even the boom boxes growing up i owned this one packs a punch and it's pretty heavy)

This video is what actually inspired me to get one as obnoxious as it is.
Since then I've spend some time teaching myself how to repair crappy common ones I've picked up at thrift shops just for practice.
