Hi. Nice site you have here. I've always been into Hi-Fi, and just made the plunge in the last year with an all vintage Pioneer rig for my main home setup. In the '90's I had a Panasonic RX-DS620 which served me through college and beyond, then passed down to younger siblings as they matriculated through higher education. I loved that thing. Just found out my mom got rid of it in the last few years. So I found another on eBay, whose tape player is shot.

Oh, and in keeping with Pioneer, I have two SK-31 boxes with issues that I'm hoping can become one good unit.

Lastly, I a couple years ago I made a boombox out of a Pelican case and marine head unit, powered off a Li-Fe motorcycle battery.

What frustrates me even more about the Panasonic, is that there's a ZZ-top tape stuck in there that I want back. Door won't open and cassette seems bound on the capstans. I'll go post in the tech forums for help. Just need to vent.
