Greetings fellow boombox lovers! A lil bit about myself...My name is Miguel AKA Migz. I was about 8 when the breakdancing craze hit LA. I got into breakdancing like every youngster in the hip hop rich streets of LA. My first boombox was a LaSonic TRC 920. My father saw an oportunity to make money by selling boomboxes at the local swapmeet and while he displayed his boomboxes, me and my crew would entertain the public. I remember going to the huge warehouses in downtown L.A. and seeing piles and piles of brand new boomboxes. It was an awesome experience and would love to rewind the hands of time to do it all over again. Now i'm 36 years old and fortunate that my father is still with me at a ripe age of 76...and when he comes over and see's my collection we both play back the good old days! This is what boomboxes mean to me. I am married and well needless to say the wifey has limited my boomboxspace so I only have 8 when I would love to have every single model ever made. I'm excited to meet you guys and although my collection doesn't have the greatest boomboxes, I still look forward to posting pics of my babies soon! Thanks for reading!
