Hello everybody! I came across this forum when I decided to research the value of a “treasure trove” of unused vintage electronics that I’m never really going to use. (I have an unopened Sharp GF-777Z!) I was sort of ignorant about how much of a culture there is regarding ghet- uh boomboxes! It’s very cool to see. Of course, part of the reason I joined is to part with some items at a fair price for myself and collectors that appreciate boomboxes and electronics from the 80’s and 90’s. Have a great day!

Some will definitely be interested but a word of advice would be to ignore ebay prices.
Buyers here will be more than fair. Good luck with parting with them, you need to be prepared to ship them to ensure they go to good homes.

Hello and Thanks for the advice. Can’t wait to visit the UK again. Sooner than later I hope, when the world returns to “normal”. I have an offer for the 777 right now but the guy is very pushy and demanding and I’m not desperate for his cash. I feel like he already promised a sale to someone else.
It's a helluva town, my friend. A bit quieter of course. But where isn't it quieter now? I saw a video of I can't remember who in London and it was like a ghost town, don't know if it was the time of day or not, but I still want to visit again when it's ok.
Yeah. Dude called and texted late and early, had a woman whispering in the background that I didnt mention that I heard, and was pushing for my address to come over with an amount of cash that was a little too low. I'm not desperate, his pushiness was suspect, I don't wanna meet anybody, or worry about handling cash, or have them come to my house, so I'm gonna do it the old fashioned way, lol, and sell it online and ship it.
Actually the tape sealing the box fell off with age, found some on the stairs, or it has been opened, but never used. I didn’t want to even open it, haven’t taken it out of the box, not sure if I should. Here’s a pic:to forum. Unopened Sharp 777 is like a Gold bullion! Can you post some pictures...
