I've got 3 boomboxes and they're all my favorites. 2 Sharps and one Hitachi. I apologise I don't have a better picture or a picture of just the Sharps.

Bottom. Sharp WF-T380H. Had similar when I was a teenager.
Middle. Sharp QT73-CD. My buddy had a lower model of essentially this one. I love it's full featured-ness.
Top. Hitachi 3D80. My cousin had one like this.

I love the vz2000 the heaviest one-piece Boombox you'll ever see plus these things are just gigantic.

The vz 2000 always gets a bad rap for the sound but let me tell you these things can thump the room pretty good but then again I like the s*** loud so I may be cranking my louder than everybody else.

I have had the opportunity to listen alot of sharp radios. In fact just this weekend i had tested/ listened to all of the 4 speaker boxes in the GF line up.
Nothing quite stacks up to the GF-919.

I replaced the sides and top with sheet aluminum because they were all scratched up.
