The Amoeba location on Hollywood opened up again recently, and as I was perusing the tapes I reminded myself that I have no way to play them. I am very new to this, but have a strange fascination for old tech. This fascination is the reason I collect CRTs, and why I plan to get a boombox.

I plan to lurk around and learn about what I should look for in a boombox. I also plan to get a good deal
