I mean, dude said it had a crack in the back, not that the whole back had collapsed. lol More than likely, half of this damange was already there and the other half was done during shipping (because the seller just threw it in there).

But its cool, EBAY is giving me a full refund.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! Man that is theeee worst shipping damaged radio I've ever seen. :dunce:  :bang:
Sorry for your loss……... :'-(

Wow..... What a mess. Another brain dead Ebayer kills another classic. :-(

Maybe those drivers will come in handy for another project.

At least you'll get your Monopoly money back for another find!

James..... :-)

As I once said ... nothing that a little deoxit wouldn't fix ;-)

I guess the next question is ... when laid out carefully on an insulated table ... does it power on?

That will be one great project for a self-build DIY cabinet :-)

I didn't bother becuase I was pretty sure EBAY would give me my money back. Now it took a couple of weeks, but thats fine. The seller never responded. He just didn't care I suppose.

"...a crack in the back..." = FARK!!! :w00t: I've received items as 'well packed' as that but the damage was near that bad - I think the seller dropped it from a roof rather than carry it downstairs.

The thing is, what are your plans? Are you going to part it out, save for spares, repair it or modify it a la Frankenbox?
