I've just received a text message from a friend that BB's will be a feature on an ITV program TODAY at about 1215hrs, I'm now waiting in anticipation...

It should be repeated on the ITV Hub website

It looks like it may have been on This Morning with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby if it was on ITV1

I was told about it and managed to tune in...it was hard sitting through all the dross beforehand... The presenters seemed quite excited to talk about cassettes and pencils and bits of tape over the holes. I think there's potentially some new Boomboxery members there
It was presented as a 'junk in the attic that's worth something' article. Featured a mid/lower range JVC, not sure of the model.

It certainly was, a friend texted me about this as I'm no fan of TV, especially the daytime garbage transmitted for the masses, and I managed to catch it just in time - and yes, those two uninspiring individuals were on display.

I went through the same ordeal, why folk watch this mundane daytime garbage rather than enjoying life is beyond me. However, the format of the show was as you said with a JVC RC-770 estimated to be worth around £70.00 followed by much reminiscing over a Sony Walkman WM-FX type moulded plastic machine with values for cassette players ranging from £30.00 - £100.00.

All in all I found it rather disappointing but, on the plus side, there wasn't a collection of BB's with over inflated estimates that'd have every Tom, Dick & Harry rushing to sell granddads favourite BB at a ridiculous price.

Bit by bit, BB's are making their existence (re)known in TV shows like this, advertisements, films, music videos and so on - one day we could all be Super Cool again!

I just wish modern technology would allow us to recreate some of the old school boxes and every detail maybe engineer out some of the flaws this time
Lol.
