I picked up a Toshiba RT-6035 a week ago and I've fixed it up into pretty good condition (just needed belts and some love on the switches).
Today I tried out the headphone jack and found that it isn't muting the audio from the main speakers when phones are in. Is this the norm for boomboxes, used for sending the signal elsewhere? or is it a malfunction in the components? Seems very strange to imagine someone would want to listen via headphones with the audio still blaring from ~2 ft away.
