Have you ever received or bought a boombox around or on your Birthday?

Title.

What year did you receive it (at the least), and what make & model was it?

For me, I haven't received any cool boxes yet though my birthday is in July, so I hope to find one for a reasonable price around that time.

1- I was 8yo, iirc it was a **** Koss tape player with a defective FM tuner (brand new) I hate it soo much, it looked something like that :

2- Then I received a Pioneer SX-737 at my 10yo birthday. still have it. My grand-mom bought it new in 1974. Not a boombox, but pretty nice unit

Previous two April’s (close enough) I’ve had a JVC 838 and a Sony CF-490S. The 838 I’ve moved on as it was a duplicate.
2017 I got a Clairtone in a trade. Gifts to myself! No ones bought me a boombox for my birthday. 787E80E7-6BA1-4404-9720-C6B786128067.jpeg0FE158C9-4E35-49EE-A236-99D387C87980.jpegA82916F1-66AF-4F5F-87CA-500761B5DA87.jpeg

Not for my birthday, but around 1991ish, my parents bought both myself and my brother a "ghettoblaster" each. I had a Panasonic RX-FT500, and my brother, being a huge Man UTD fan, got a Sharp one, I forget the model number. Mine was lost when I lent it to a 'mate' who wanted to use it whilst decorating his flat and I never got it back, I have since replaced it with another one, just for nostalgia's sake. My brother still has his Sharp one somewhere. I used to have my Amiga hooked up to my Panny, loved being able to record some of the game music onto cassette.
