I spotted this cork board Boombox at a local street festival. $10 The vendor said she had second thoughts about selling it. I bought it right away, before she changed her mind. CORK.jpg

Though I think that Chris' Lloyds-badged version is obviously what the artist was looking at when they made the mat.

So is the mat life sized?

:-D ...Whereas I prefer the Lloyds because of the mic socket that isn't in that position on mine, the round tweeter grilles and the more upright tuner dial. This means that I now have to find a Lloyds just like that but keep the Watson anyway, because it sounds good in spite of probably being lighter than the cork mat! :lol:

You guys are funny. I do have this same Helix with Lasonic TRC-931 speakers swapped into it. Tape decks need work, so basically AM/FM only. I'm considering selling it to anyone here who could use it as a project box or parts. Sounds decent. Inquire within. ;-)
