Had some free time

The first CEC that was up for sale a few months ago had a balance control issue so I decided since I had some free time I dig out my parts CEC and swap the balance controls out. Got it all swapped out and when putting it back together putting the antenna wire on I slipped a little and bumped into this component, looks almost like a capacitor with 4 legs. Well it broke 2legs off and caused the FM stereo mode not to work. Luckily I was able to get the part off my CEC parts unit and was able to replace broken component. Geez what I wouldn't have been able to do without my parts box 😬. Anyway she's all back together fully working and even balance control is back fully working 😎👍👍👍

Down to the fine details. Get the last little things working so a box is 100% functional (x60 )

Before your threads on the CEC I knew nothing about them. Truth be told, I have never seen one before. Now they are part of the everyday boombox conversation and I recognise them immediately when I see them here, on eBay or on the web.

I don't have anything to trade (because I'm a hoarder ) and I know we pretty much collect the same stuff so anything I would want to part with would not be of your interest, but one day, I will try to pick these up when the money is a little freer.

I remember your movie, that's cool. Yeah, I only have doubles of the 920. I've run out of room for doubles (sadly)
