Many of you know that I've been commuting 2.5 hours to work (each way) and staying at a friend's house during the week away from my family AND my permanent job is actually half time, which I was going to return to next month (I'd been working full-time the past three months and only being home on weekends.)

I NOW HAVE JUST BEEN APPOINTED TO A PROMOTION,

FULL TIME

ONE MILE AWAY FROM MY HOME!!!

Why am I not in the "off topic" room?

Because it will give me more boombox money... Even though, honestly, that is by far not the biggest blessing...

Family ROCKS!
(And my family will love hanging out with me listening to music on my M90 when I get one...)

I think working one mile from home is a much bigger cause for celebration than the promotion. You are right, family is waay important.

I had hope and prayed that you would be blessed with a full time job. I guess being humble and working hard has paid off. You were truly blessed. Keep up the hard work Holly. Great that you can now spend more time with your family. Now, you can share the wealth and send me your Disco. :yes:

That is wonderful for you. Family is more important than anything. I live a couple of miles from my job and that makes it much more worthwhile. :-)

Was thinking lately - nothing good happened in the world. But here you are with great news :thumbsup: . Congrats Holly. Really happy for you. When celebrating that, just remember for a second that some people all around the world are happy for you too :clap:
