damn nice radio , love the woofers looks like it means business .

You should see them move, they travel a lot pounding out the damn good bass. That's just running it on 8 D batteries and since it's a 240 volt box I can't run it on AC right now so there is no way I'm getting full power, this box draws 80 watts.

i never under estimate small woofers especially when they look like they are just built for power like those , i have seen small woofers that were set up right that will kick the crap out of a much larger speaker that is set up badly.

In just the brief time I've had it I can say sound quality and bass quantity/quality is right up there with the best I have. I haven't had a chance yet to run it on AC for full power since it's a 240 volt box, I'll have to get a converter. I've only run it on 8D batteries so far and it's obvious they run out of juice to soon.

A Rotel??!!

That was my reaction when I saw it on the shelf, in fact I walked by it the first time because it was turned sideways and buried on the top shelf so that all I could see was the plain side of one speaker. On my way back by I saw just enough to catch my eye, I always walk the electronic isles once in each direction and it works since what I don't catch on one pass I usually catch on the second from the opposite angle. The Rotel is one of those boxes I never expected to see in a thrift kind of like a Wheely so needless to say I was stunned and excited.

I've never had a Telefunken so I have no idea but maybe Ira could chime in, I think he has or had a Telefunken.

BTW-I do the same thing look at all the rows and double back,stuff get;s hidden sometimes!
