Greetings from Uruguay (and from my first ever boombox)

Hello! I'm from Uruguay, and I've been obsessing over boomboxes for a while. Decided to start small since I'm new to this and might want to take on restoration, so I finally found a cheap-ish and decent condition boombox recently and took the plunge.

It's a Lasonic LPC89 as you might see. Haven't found any information on it googling around, what year is it from, any manuals or anything. Sounds Ok, but has some issues that I suspect are due to it needed a cleanup.

Anyways I might be asking for advice later on how to get started on some basic restoration. Cheers everyone!

Welcome from the UK! Great idea to start small and test out fixing them then work up to some biggies. Lots of info on here on restoring them

Thanks! If anyone here has any info on this particular model that'd be great, tho I believe that'll be hard seeing how little information there is in general when googling it.
