Yes there is the bottom alu trim that is (was) missing.

So I went to have a look at my donor Bboxes and got what was needed off of an M80 (not as shiny as an original but did the job):

Oh.... by the way guys and gals...

Once I get my other M50 from Japan I will fix mine up to the top 100% best Bboxes in my collection and then put the other M50 (as close to 100% as possible) for grabs!

What do I mean by, "For Grabs"?

Well, it will be a free M50 for any one who might be interested! Only needing to pay for the shipping (a little like what I offered for the M80 -which never went! :'-( ).

If the M50 is not grabbed, I will put it up on ebay Ireland and let it go to any world wide bidder.

Yes!!!

No, no... This is not an M80! It is an M50 where I used an M80 top trim to replace the missing bottom dail trim on the M50.

If you look at my avatar, the top box is the M80. :-P

i really like my m50. . i think it sounds a lot nicer than my m80 but of course its not the power monster the m70 is.
i think the m50 has very nice sound and it is a very good radio.

The M50 is really a beautiful box but has a very unbalanced sound.Too much midrange presence for its highs and lows.Dial the bass pot to max. and it still doesn't achieve a pleasing balance. An equalizer would have helped define the highs which also can't compete with its smothering mids.It is a strange box indeed to my ears. Not a very versatile unit.It might do well with folk music but not with anything full sounding.Should make an awesome PA system though.Just my opinions to the best of my ability.
