Gang, heres my old JVC M70 cassette door and pic of the new one installed thanks to member Cholo1 ON Stereo2Go forum. :)

Very nice!! I hope you held on to the old door though. Even in that condition, it might make somebody very happy. :yes:

That old door can be made like new. :yes:

You need to remove the old paint from the rear and then repaint it. Use metalic flat paint. Leave the auto stop writing and cross grid line area when you remove the old paint. I would mask those areas and use a 2000 grit automotive grade sand paper to remove the silver paint.
After that polish the face. :-D :yes:

Paint it with what ?
It has a brushed aluminum look paint, silk screening.

Im selling the old one on ebay.
