well well --i really did not ever want to be the first to 'break in ' THIS forum :-)

and 'officially' i dont even have one recent 'bad seller' to warn you guys about - YET :-D

if we ever buy from ebay sellers that are 'consignment' shops -
or never sell any electronics
--its ALWAYS at our own high risk -
as we should never expect their testing or descriptions to be accurate-

or their boombox packing to be as we want -

i do have sort of a 'funny seller' story to share ::

about 3 weeks ago - i won a big black discoball box from a usa seller-( who usually lists shoes, panties etc) :-)
after 2 weeks --i sent him a cool polite email - just to ask in case it MAY have been shipped yet-- :-D

i dont have the exact quote -- but here it was ::

"sorry for the delay -- but your item was larger than we thought it was.
so we ORDERED some more bubble-wrap --and it just arrived this week"

wonder how heavy that bubble-wrap carton was ?? :lol:

anyhow --its not here yet -
hope to have a happy story to show in our collections forum soon :-)

btw --would like to hear any other 'funny seller' stories here

In that sellers defence I order bubble wrap on bulk via the post . . But I'm way to pro to have to wait for it . .

all over here in the big usa :-)
we seem to have a ups store or some pak/ship franchise on every corner-
so thats why i was so surprised that he said his bubble-wrap shipment caused the TWO WEEK delay !! :-D

but - perhaps- like you - he got a bulk trainload (better price for sure) shipment
and so then -- my discoball box will be well packed :-)

but -- the funniest part was that he said
"my item was larger than they thought" :lol:
