Hit an Estate sale today and picked up a box of Triad MG-X 60 Tapes (9 total) I guess they had used one as the box originally had 10. No price so I asked how much they were. The guy says what are they, cassettes? How but $1.00? Uhh OK!

They had the Teac A-450 Priced at $10.00 , I plugged it in and it came on but wouldn't spin a tape. He said $5.00 since it would not play the tape. Uhh OK! Got it home and the drive belt is toast. Put another one on from another deck and it works but the belt not the perfect size so I ordered a new belt set.

Yes, they are "thats" products. I had never heard of them until yesterday. I dont really collect tapes ( I do buy them whenever I find a deal ). There was a lot if high end gear at this sale, I also picked up a set of AKG K340 Headphones, didnt steal them but they are in awesome shape and still has original box. Even though it was cool looking at all this gear I could feel this was one of those places to find a serious boomer like M90 or rx-7000 or something equivalent, but no dice, no boomers.

It very well may end up there to fund some more boomer purchases. I dont really collect old Hifi stuff, but it is very cool.
