Giving life to my Panasonic RX-CT980

Hello from Seattle. I find myself here in hopes of reviving my Panasonic RX-CT980. I've had it from new. It was the best dang stereo! Unfortunately a building I was living in, in 2002 was rewired wrong the while building had 240 going thru it twhen I turned on my boombox. Nothing happened, it didnt turn on and its never worked since. I have kept it wondering if someone could tell me its fixable.

Its been awhile since I have tried to look for a manual. Looking up the model number I found this group! Maybe there is hope?

you should look for a service manual online.
it may be a blown fuse, transformer or something else.
have you turn on panasonic on batteries?

You might have blown only the power transformer.

there should be an AC fuse you can replace. You need to dismantle to access.
