So I have an opportunity on a gf909 but was curious as to the comparrison to the 777
I see the 777 is higher wattage any input would be much appreciated I like both but if the 777 conquers the 909 il just wait for the 777
Anyone with knowledge on both radios please comment

The amp chips are the same, regardless of what the labels say about wattage.

Biggest difference is the 909 has Japanese writing, so you have to memorize or write down what each control does. Also it is 100V only.

100 volt only like not normal power cord ?
As for memorizing the switches that's fine so both have same power that's also good i was offered a trade a 909 for a j1 super jumbo and I'm leaning towards the deal I think I would much rather a gf

Like instead of 120V it's 100V, the japanese home voltage.

Some people run 120V into their 100V radios without any problems, but it's not recommended for the long term. Damage could result. Best bet is to just use batteries, or search for a voltage step-down converter that plugs into the wall and converts your 120V to 100V.
