GF767 Problem

My 767 has started making audio noises on power up, which override all other output.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to solving this please?

What kind of noises? Hums? Squealing?

I highly suggest you clean all the switches including the dreaded record/playback switch (record bar). Search on here for many examples on how to do that. You would have to disassemble the boombox to gain access to the switches and you will need to procure some electronics cleaner solvent. Deoxit D5 is a good one if you can get it.
