these sony speakers are a good replacement for some 3 piece models and are rated a 8 ohms so as not to ruin some amps. and theyre also 5 inches in diameter

Certainly cheap enough to play with and they look cool but I would be concerned about this specification: SPL: 85 dB 1W/1m
That's not a very efficient speaker so it likely won't play very loud.

eh.. i might make a mini blaster with like 20 watts per channel . i still dont know yet
