funny costa rican story for ya'll

there's two costa rican hookers sitting in a bar one says to the other....oh wait this is a family show



soooo as most of you know i was in costa rica for about 9 days. maybe mid way thru the trip we pulled into a small surfing town. totally awsome day, in order to get to the town we had to cross a river that had a road in it. 4X4 baby!!!! we found lodging a nice lil restaurant on the beach and the water was as warm a jacuzzi on prom nite in the morning we went out to get some coffee at a spot highly recommended to us.


so what do you think happened next.................


we leave the hotel start driving down the road "with out our pass ports" theres a 5 way road block with costa rican federalies with automatic weapons!!!!!!!! SH*T!!! so what do we do? well ill tell ya, we decide it was a good idea to turn around and just got to the beach cafe. stupid idea, 2 federalies decide to follow us. they checked us out and everything was kool, we had coffee, play in the ocean. then we headed back to the hotel packed out crap and headed out to the next destination. BAMMM!!!!! road block still there. they check out papers start to check the car. they find nothing. then tell us to get out of the car and to to the side of the road with our hands on our heads with board shorts, sandals and sunglasses on :sin: they thought i was some krazy gangster with all my tattoo's blazin!!! then they bring out the drug dog!!! :dog:


damn i fell like ira right now. :hoveround:

so the dog finds nothing... then they get mad and tell us we're lying they then threw all out crap onto the dirt road i happen to be on this trip with a cop mind you. olice: he then decides it would be a good idea to show them his police i.d. not a good idea they start to mock his i.d. then start pulling out random crap out of their wallets and putting them side by side and laughing at it. it doesnt look good for our capped crusaders.................... :'-(

Haha! I bet that wasn't much fun at all at the time. But it sure makes for some rockin holiday memories!

I'm glad though nothing happen sometimes when visiting foreign countries and you are pulled over by an officer and then they find out you're an American they make it really hard for you.

No kidding.... That scares the sh!t out of me. There seems to be a high chance of official "kidnapping for ransom" in some of these countries. Planted drugs on an American... and only a high "fine" will make things go away. Right into the pocket of the local federalli.

That's the kind of shiat that would be on my mind thinking that vacation just went from $5k to $10k and I'm going to find out what the inside of a Costa Rican jail looks like.

Glad you made it out man! When I was in the military (Army) we had a training exercise in Panama. They warned us that if you run, the police will shoot figuring the only reson you're not a kid and running is if you stole something.

Needless to say even when we had a pass to tour, I stayed at base camp...
