Saturday was a big street festival with flea ( 2x a year)

Expected nothing, those fleas are touristic and commercial only
And right, no single boombox at all

Just want to leave and go home.
But at one housedoor was a little paper:
"little private flea inside, come in"

Ok, so lets take a look

The 2 people there was just closing and sort out the worthless things throwing in the trash container.
Hey, those are 2 speakers of a PANASONIC :-O

"Do you have also the main unit"?

"Yes, but the CD and right tape is not working.
So i throw it away and keep only the speakers for sale"

Asked for the price of the whole unit.

" give me 2euros and take it" :w00t:

And here we go

2 Euros? They should have just thrown it all away. Why even bother letting anyone into their home for such pittance. 2 eur can't even buy a sandwich.

Nice work Roman, I have one and it sounds great, turn the Volume and XBS right up and it can hold it's own with just about any other box.

2 Euros, :-D I think I paid about $35 bux for mine.

Oh there's supposed to be a trick to get Line In, put a data CD in and plug your mp3 player into the CD Out.

My CD doesn't work though.

No idea why.
Maybe they go for 2 cheesburger...
Also because without the main unit, the speakers are quite worthless.
But when you look over the fleas, you will find many speakers of nice boomboxes.
People think the speakers are more worth as the whole boombox.
Crazy world...

btw: own the same unit in mint condition

LittleB, if you didn't know...

There's a little trick you can use to play a line-in device using the Line Out on the 680.

1) Hook up an iPod, or some other audio device, into the Line Out

2) Insert a blank CD-R or data CD into the CD player of the 680 and press PLAY

3) Press PLAY on your iPod and enjoy sweet line-in music

:-D

If you are handy with solenoid and microswitch repairs you can get it 100% fairly easy. I've had one since 1993 and have it now with remote. It is probably Panasonic best sounding boomer ever produced outside the RX-C100. Congrats!
