I just felt like letting you guys know of the last thing i got from the good old home of boomboxes... JAPAN!

Not the real thing maybe one day:

It is complete, and never been opened (besides the outside plastic wrap).

All that is inside is still in its original packing and stapled into place... NOW..... Do I leave AS IS, or do I BUILD IT??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Here's my contribution to the cause: a photo of my SK-900 Gallery of Fun. Ya got your full-sizer, your model kit, and your dance CD with a photo of a 900 on the cover. I hope I'm not leaving anything out...

I haven't listened to the 900 in a long time. I just remember thinking that it looks better than it sounds. I know that isn't much help, but maybe someone else who owns one can chime in here.

Brian knows I'm always ready to send him the goodness of my heart. But on a ship? It would take forever to get to France that way. Better to send it by air!

I'll defer to Ira when it comes to "How does it sound?" If he says "sound over looks," it's sound over looks! When you combine my tin ear with my failing memory, my comparos turn out to be low on reliability.

If for some reason you get a part screwed up, you're well...screrwed. If you can get another, then I'd do it. But only if there is a spare...
