Friends and boxes

Hi everyone,

So my friend Brian and I had a great time yesterday listening to some at my place and I wanted to share the experience with you guys!!!

Typically we would sit around listening to vinyl records together, but this time he brought over a bunch of cassette tapes that he made back in the day.

He was kind enough to give me three
TDK MA-R90’s that he purchased in Japan back in the day.

We also messed around with the bumpboxx, watched music videos by the Stones and Billy Idol and we took some fun photos!!!

This is what these boxes are all about!!!
Getting together with your friends, sharing good music and the memories behind the music and devices we used to enjoy them.

Thats a great post! I have no friends who would be interested in boomboxes. Honestly, after we left NYC 20 some years ago, we pretty much left everything we knew behind. Our friends never made the attempt to come and visit. Thats ok. My wife and I have each other and we share in each others dreams! As we get older, we find out that in reality all we have are "acquaintances" out here. Seems as if everyone is too busy to just "hang out".

You do have one friend, probably your best friend, your wife.
My bestie is my wife, but unfortunately she doesn’t share my passion for boxes.
My only friend from NY that was here in Florida is now gone and he was the only one I could share some of the tracks with that no one else I know would have even heard.
Fortunately I have two friends down here who are music lovers but they are married too, so
Its not very often we get together but when we do it’s always a great time.
In my area I can count my good friends on one hand and still have a few fingers left over
BTW where in the world do you live?

We are in Arizona. Going over the estimate to replace my rooftop A/C for 11k. The heat is coming!
