Got the L30 from eBay for a song! When it came something in the box it came in didn't sound right. Opened it up and I got caught up with another corny @ss packing guy ! The transformer came loose and bounced it's way all the way to my house. I immediately sent the seller a message about his poor packaging. I quickly got a message back from PayPal stating I got my money COMPLETELY returned to me followed by an apology from the seller ! After that I decided to open it up and check to see the damage. It all still looked okay from my end and I decided to plug it in fearing the worst! Nope! It turned on and the speakers slammed me with some serious bass!! I was able to glue the transformer back in and solder a battery connection that got ripped off (possibly by the transformer) and now it's back to 100% Had to also fiddle with the power button because it wouldn't stay on but that's all good now as well. It's gonna need some belts too, but what 20-30 year old radio doesn't now a days huh?
Does anybody know how to make the buttons stay in place? 3 came loose and they just won't stay in there place
Now these bad boys I just couldn't pass up!! I don't even own a KABOOM but after seeing that they where 6 1/2's and 4 ohm I couldn't just let them slide!! Almost every radio I have has this size woofer in it and seeing that these weren't used I scooped them up as well as back up!! Oh and yes they're staying inside the box!!!
