I got lucky. Super duper lucky. It's my personal grail.
Honestly I thought I'd never ever see one again, and would have to settle for the slightly different model (nicer though)
So yeah, I'm majorly stoked!!

Still better packing than one I got...it wasn't in a box at all, it just had thin bits of card taped to each side with nothing on the corners at all and no other protection. Amazingly it arrived undamaged too. Congrats on a personal grail

Kinda funny. It makes me wonder.... if the shippers can tell it doesnt have any packing, so they are more careful with it. But when they see a big box, and assume it's packed well, they just throw it all over the place and assume it'll be fine. Big dummies.

I bet they would be, especially if you wrote something heartwarming like "You're going to make it Carl! Hope this radio gives you a smile" on the pieces of cardboard you tape over the knobs and switches. Too bad it costs so much to ship stuff, it would be a fun little test.

Oh wow,first thing I said when I saw it was "oh no". So glad to hear it arrived undamaged. Every now and then we get lucky on the stuff we order.

Oh I got a m90 that was just wrapped in cardboard it was the only way you can slide thru Customs still make the size limit. Then the lady at the post office slammed it down on the counter when I went to pick it up .it's so miracle it survived.
