Found this cool G.E. for $6

Hi guys! I was driving passed this storage unit rental place and noticed an old Cowboy in his 70s selling things out of his rental. I stopped and immediatley spotted this complete and fully functioning (except the cassette) G.E. Mini radio. It still had duracells powering the digital clock on it. I was impressed that it had a digital tuner AND 'MLS 3' (music locating system) for the cassette. It has sepaerate Bass & Treble sliders, Ipod/MP3 Line In jacks too. The floating tweeters inside the woofer grills are cool too. I felt sad for this poor old Cowboy selling what he could to make ends meet so, I gave him $10 anyway. Here are some pics. Thanks guys. I really like the digital tuner and 6 programable stations instead of using a traditional dial knob. All this on a mini too.

My girlfriend in college had the exact same boombox!! I remember it having very clear and loud sound for its size.

She was kind of a pack rat. Where ever she is I'm sure the GE is in a box somewhere.

What a score. I had the same boombox... I even found mine on the street in a free pile in Portland, OR and it was in perfect working order. I had it for two years traveling everywhere with it. Seriously, it was always my carry-on baggage on plane trips. And then one night got really drunk and lost it, which has been devastating. I've been on a mad search for another one ever since and it has led me here. I just can't imagine life with a different style boombox (which is pretty pathetic and spoiled, but I love it that much). If anyone has one they would sell, please contact me for sure. Cheers. Mikey.
