Hi everyone,a while back I had my Aiwa fall on the floor upside down so the tweeter on top got dented and the volume knob took a huge hit. So after the fall - no sound at all! Everything still worked,CD,Tape,Tuner. But no sound, headphones worked on one side. So I took it apart and finally after a 2nd attempt, I found that if I wedged the headphone jack area back with a wedge it started working again! Now the volume knob is a little screwy but if I adjust it a bit I can get the volume at a manageable level, kind of wants to play loud but it’s still adjustable, just finicky. So after about a hour and a half I finally got it back together and all is going again!
I know it’s not the prettiest boombox around but it does have a nice auto-reverse deck and it sounds decent for it’s size.

Wow haven't seen that one. Was it an overseas model?

Be sure to place it near a wall to reflect those cool surround speakers

Man, from the top, it almost looks like a praying mantis head. Wild!

Thanks guys, I got at Goodwill for $9.99 about 10 years ago and it does sound decent! If another one ever shows up I may swap the volume knob board and a antenna. It does have some cool features.
