Never realized how massive and loud is this monster before :w00t: . How many functions and so. Quite pricey but worth it  . The "stop" dont come back when pressed , instead of that 100% working and not in bad condition. Always knew this one is massive, but cant realize how big is it till dont get in my hands :w00t: . Even the construction dudes which are workin on my hose (and aware of my hobby and boomers) were shocked from this one  . Not sure will keep it or not ( my black led mania :-P ). But happy  . And love boomers which keep the sound perfect till max volume.

Looks great and if it's truly a step up from the 460 it's got to kick some serious butt.
I had a 460 at one time and it was extremely loud but lacked some in the bass, I hope to get my hands on a 480 someday.

Now you understand why I love these particular big Fishers (PH480, PH490 & PH492) . The tape decks are top quality, as is the radio itself. They're very heavy, about 33Lbs (w/o batteries). Of all the 3 piecers made. I highly recommend these. To people that are not big fans of them, give these a chance  Congratulations!
