So I haven't been doing the thrift shop or yard sale hunts in a long long time, but still occasionally browse offerup and craigslist.
Seems every time I find a radio at a halfway decent price they're already spoken for by the time I see them.
But I managed to find two boomboxes at decent prices locally in the last 5 days! And not just any radios, two that I've liked for a while.
A Realistic SCR-8 I got for $50 and an Aiwa CS-880u for $100 plus I bought the guy lunch for coming to me about 20 miles.
These are just the posted photos, they're both pretty dirty and need baths but with the exception of one switch cover on the Aiwa, they look 100% together. Both need belts but no biggy.
