What was the first "Super Jumbo" radio?

Who was the first company to coin the marketing phrase "Jumbo" and "Super Jumbo". Obviously there are quite a few companies that put the sticker on the front of their stereo's trying to sell the SIZE MATTER'S aspect of portables back in the day.But who did it first?

Also, do we have a list of JUMBO & SUPER JUMBO'S?

The Conion C-100F was probably the biggest box of its time and certainly qualifies as a "Super Jumbo". I'm not sure if they used that as a marketing tool tho.
Still, I think that's the very first "Super Jumbo".

Perhaps the first to actually have "Super Jumbo" written on the box was the Conion C-126.

That said, the biggest boxes that I can think of include...

  • 1. Elta Master Blaster/Helix Wheely/etc.
    2. Tecsonic J-1 Super Jumbo/etc.
    3. ICS STR-5092
    4. Helix HX-4700
    5. Conion C-100F/etc.
    6. Conion C-126/Technisonic Conion TC-999

All of those can get the "Super Jumbo" tag.
