Hi guys, just did some clean then repaint the speaker' grills on my 4360 last night. That's the first time I done anything like that and it's very time-consuming. Only finished by around 4.a.m this morning It was alot of work and I'm a bit tired so forgot to take a fair amount of photos though. Please enjoy some pics that I took in and out the progress. Cheer.
Before cleaning, the grills were very rusty:
Strange looking Speaker with concave "belt" and ugly "cone". It's very solid and I observe it moves very little at high volume. Don't know why, it's still producing good bass I believe
It's quite difficult to get the speakers off the box, because some of the screws is not easy to access.
Removing the grills is even more difficult. I was very concentrated to make sure I don't break any of those heavily rusty hooks that keep the grills attached to the front frame, and forgot to took a picture of the grills
After clearing off the rust with sand paper, I use this to spray the grills:
I spayed at distant of 30 cm for 3 times, each after 15 minutes. Then let them dried for about one hour before getting them back all together.
And this is the final work:
Now I'm very happy with its cosmetic It's gonna to be my favorite box for years to come, I promised
Thanks very much for reading!
