Hi everyone,I haven't been to Goodwill in over 3 months and last time I was there I got a really mint fully functioning Sony CFD-440.
Now today I was looking around at all their junk which was around 12 boomboxes but beat up CD Sonya and just beat up junk but there was a really clean large beast!! A JVC PC-XC30 6 disc changer Boombox which was very clean!!
I was testing it and the tuner worked, the 2 tape decks worked but the CD drawer wouldn't open,so I asked the manager if I could get it cheaper than the 14.99 they were asking, she brought it down to 7.99 and then it was 1/2 off of that so I got it for $4.00!!!
I got it home and fully cleaned it and it is very very clean, actually mint except slight scratch on top of right speaker, and it's so slight!!!
Now I've restored already a JVC PC-V 66 so I immediately found out that there were 4 Christmas CD's stuck in there!!
I actually getting impressed with my abilities as I had this thing all cleaned out and let the unit go through all of it's resetting and and after a while it started to play a CD!!
This thing is actually really sweet sounding !
Just would love to get a remote for it as I can't adjust the clock without it but I'm happy now as I have my first 6 CD changer Boombox hitch uses batteries!!
I have a PC-CX3 which is a 2 disc changer but this is way better.
Here's a photo of the beast!!!
