Great car -- my brother used to have one -- ex police car, had a ton of guts. But that's the only non-classic in the front row. Looks a little outta place.

i agree -- its not yet in the same classic league as those other very cool wheels -

but --its sort of like a kaboom = gonna be a classic --way later :-D

actually all the folks there said it was right at home. it also says classic right on the back of it :-)
no time to bring a boomer went right from the wifes work to there.
it was also really cool to make some connections with the classic chevy owners people at the car show. i have some great connections now for getting some minor things done.
in fact the front row was assigned to the best rides there and i was pretty shocked and proud to be asked to put the "ghost" there.

you know it man. like floating on a cloud. i also found out today the motor in my car is the same motor they used in the caddys from that same time period.
the studebaker guy besides us with the hawk was really cool. i talked to him for a long time and told him about my dads studebakers.
my dad had a hawk a power hawk a golden hawk and a silver hawk.
my grandfather owned a commander and a turismo as well. great memories checking out that old hawk. the fury besides the hawk is pretty nice as well.i actually owned a sports fury when i was a kid. great ride terrible handling car tho lol.
57 monarch in the picture was pretty nice as well.

That's really cool bill and to be placed in the company of those other classics is

yeah i was kind of surprised at the response the caprice got.
the three cars parked together actually drew a crowd at times to talk about how much and how little had changed between the time frame of those three cars.

i can remember a time where people would also say the fury was out of place too lol.

Nice ride, bill!!!!!

Did you pull the radio and build in a portable synth??? :-D

lol. theres enough room in the back seat to stuff kieth emersons moog in there.
you know something that would be pretty fun for a lowrider show would be to have a mpc hooked up through a bad assed car stereo. now that would make for some interesting possibilities.
