I got into boomboxes last year. I always take one to school everyday and would like to start collecting them. Any advice on where to find good ones for a decent price?

Thrift stores, yard sales, and craigslist. Those are you best bets for decent prices. Everyone now and then, you can get a really good deal on eBay though.

:agree: with the BigDog.
To score on eBay requires timing, persistence (a lot of it) and sometimes the deal can be so good you can't pause or it's gone. I've scored some really good boxes, grails even, for a fraction of what they should sell for. Knowing I could sell off the parts for at least as much as I was paying clicking the BIN was a no brainer, I didn't worry about the poor pics or weak description.

Look often and everywhere you have the time to and you will eventually score, sometimes it won't be much but when you find the good ones it makes the effort worth it. :-D

Good Luck ozone!

I forgot to mention that you need to enlist the help of everyone you know - mom, dad, brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, ex-girlfriends, etc.

Let them know what you're looking for since you can't be at all places at the same time. :-)
