..............managed to get a Crown CSC-850 parts box so I could finish my Tungsram CSC-850.
Here's the Tungsram as bought at a carboot for £3 back in 2010, dirty covered in paint specks, rusty grills and missing the cassette door and some cassette keys, it did have the original aerials and carry strap and was working but needed belts.

Here it is cleaned up and rebelted this was still in 2010 and that's how it's been since then until this week.

Here's the Crown box dosen't look too bad, but the front and rear case are badly damaged around the left strap loop.

So here it is now with re-painted grills the door and keys from the Crown, I also took the strap as the tungsrams had paint specks on it that couldn't be removed without damaging it.

The Tungsram CSC-850 looks very nice now, the Crown well it could still be restored but it would now need the keys, door and a back the front could be repaired, so for now I'll keep it as spares.
I might at some point re-paint the front of the Tungsram as it does have some scratches and wear but looks ok.

That´s incredible :w00t: . Where is it from? I know Tungsram from Hungary. They make Bulbs. I recived this Saturday me 2nd Crown 850-CSC L, and I really like them. I want to know, if they where sold in Hungary, cause I was born there. :yes:

You were fortunate to have the spares to complete your box.
sometimes the hardest part of restoring a box!!!
