Finally met another brother

Funny I never thought I would meet anyone else into this hobby down here but I must say it was great to catch up with the legend RAMBOESTRADA he has been selling a few of his boxes on TRADEME down here and so I PM,ed him to see if he had anything else he might want to sell direct to me. Sure enough he had these quite nice 9191 black and 9292 silver for sale. It would seem there might be others I might be able to pry out of him. A couple A bit more iconic which I wont mention yet. Wish i hadnt sold my 9090 now would have been nice to have them all in a row.

Yeah he was a nice guy he made me laugh though as he intrduced himself as RAMBO.
Its a wierd thing to talk to someone face to face about this hobby.

Rambo is definitely a legend in this scene. Real good guy. I mean, boomboxes are hard enough to find down there. Yet, he came through big time for me a few years back and posted a cassette door to the U.S.

Guys it sounds way better than the 9292 beside it. I find that anoying

Probably due to age and component wear, I have both in excellent plus condition and they sound very similar which they should since they are essentially the same box. I will add that I slightly prefer the 9292 sound but I'll bet they would both sound better with a recapping.
